I reckon that automated call was nothing but a ruse! It claimed my national insurance number had been tampered with and fraudulent activity was afoot. It even pressured me to hit 1. What a load of nonsense!

Got a call today from an automated voice about my National Insurance number. Didn’t know who it was and sounded a bit fishy, so I just hung up. Pretty sure it was one of those scam calls trying to get personal info. Watch out!
