I got a call from a company called Sureserve, used to be K&T Heating. They do gas and boiler checks and servicing. Even though they say they’re in Brighton, their phone number shows up as London for the call centre.

I didn’t pick up and there was no voicemail left. I really doubt they’re the council’s heating engineers. My boiler was just serviced not long ago and my landlord doesn’t have a deal with them anyway. I’ve gone ahead and blocked the caller now.

So these KT Heating folks usually ring up on behalf of some council housing about heating stuff. If they try to call you, i'd say just wait for them to get back to you or send a letter if you missed the call. Otherwise, you might be stuck on hold for well over an hour trying to get through. Saves you the hassle really.

K&T Heating Got a voicemail and a text saying they were coming to do a boiler service. I called back to say they had the wrong number, thinking I was doing them and the client a favour, but they were quite rude and didn’t really care. They told me to just answer the phone when they call and if I get any texts to get a reference number - problem is, they never gave one. I’ve just blocked them now. If you haven’t arranged anything with them, I’d say ignore and block because they seem to call random numbers and are pretty awful to deal with!

This has got to be K & T Heating, they fitted my radiators and all. They do loads of jobs for L & Q housing association too. They’re a proper legit company and the folks there are really decent. Not scammers at all. You can trust this number for sure.
