I received a rather dodgy call from an automated voice purporting to be from BT. They claimed they’d been attempting to reach me about some suspicious goings-on with my phone line and broadband, threatening disconnection if I didn’t act swiftly. They even invited me to press button one for more details! Naturally, I hung up straight away as I don’t even have an account with them. Seemed like a right scam to me!
