Cheers to this website, as soon as the muppet started with "Hello, I’m from Microsoft Windows," I cut them off with "Yeah, I’m aware it’s a scam, now shove off," and hung up quick. Proper fed up of these wankers hassling ordinary folks with random phone numbers. The caller ID showed a London number, but his thick Indian accent had me doubting that was real.

So, this number called me claiming they were from Microsoft. They said someone was trying to get into my Microsoft account from another country. They wanted me to open Windows and do some stuff on my computer. I told them I’d prefer to get an email to confirm before doing anything, and then they just ended the call. Bit shady if you ask me.

Some lady said she was June Matthews from Microsoft, sounded like she had a Hindu accent. When I asked her how she got my number, she said it was when I signed up for something. Thing is, I never gave my number during any registration. She told me to turn on my computer so she could give me a fresh ID number that wasn't compromised. The weird part is I've already blocked that number on my phone, yet it still called me through. Strange how that works!

The lady, who sounded like she had an Indian accent and said her name was Fiona, already knew my name and said my computer was sending signals to their system. Been getting calls from this number loads in the past few days, like seven times. Every time I pick up, there’s no one on the line. I've put the number on my block list now.

Totally a scam call. The line was terrible, with a strange accent and loads of noise in the background. The bloke said he was from Microsoft and even knew my name, claiming my computer had been sending him error reports for weeks. I played along for a bit (even though I don’t have a Windows machine), then I told him he deserved some serious trouble for what he's doing and hung up on him.
