9 yearsI received a call from this unfamiliar number, but I opted to withhold my own number by dialling 141 beforehand. When I tried to send a text, it returned as unrecognised. This leads me to believe it might be associated with a scam operation. Best to be cautious!9 yearsPersistently rang me despite my clear indication of disinterest; I've received at least nine calls from them.9 yearsA chap with a distinctive accent gave me a ring, seemed to know my name and wanted me to verify my address. He claimed to be from Direct Line, but I wasn't keen on the conversation, so I ended it abruptly. He then called again, asking incredulously, "What do you mean you’re not interested?" I hung up once more. He rang back three additional times, and I warned him that I’d involve the authorities if he continued to pester me. Just when I thought it was over, he phoned again, laughingly suggesting, "I've rung back so you can indeed call the police." When I probed further into his identity, he shockingly claimed to be an ex-boyfriend. Naturally, I disengaged the call immediately.Direct Line9 yearsAnnoying phone call I received, they seemed to have my details, including my name and address. They were probing about some insurance claim related to a car accident I supposedly had over the past three years. When I insisted that I hadn’t been in any such accident, they accused me of being dishonest. What a cheek!Submit Your Own Report (020 8256 4563)
