So this person called me pretending to be a solicitor, right? I told them I want to cancel my number, and they go on about it being some "security call" so they can’t do it. Total scam, honestly. Then they asked if I’d been in an accident recently, I said no and repeated I want my number cancelled. Then the woman was like, "Are you sure you didn’t?" and started laughing! Proper sketchy behaviour.

Got a call from someone with an Asian accent claiming to be a solicitor. As soon as I heard that, I just ended the call straight away. Watch out, it’s probably a scam.

Got a call earlier today, they just said “hello” but when I tried to respond, nothing from their side. The call then ended. I tried ringing back since it looked like a legit landline but the number simply wouldn’t connect - like it’s not even a real number. Not the first time I’ve had one of these calls, just annoying time wasters, probably those mum pimps again.

I picked up this call from an Asian woman, sounded like she was doing some kind of survey, but I could barely catch what she was saying. She asked if I owned my house and what brand my TV and dishwasher were. The weird part was she already knew my address and postcode, which honestly made me a bit uneasy.
