Got a voicemail that sounded like it was from BT, saying they tried calling me loads but couldn’t get hold (which is rubbish as I’m retired and always around, plus my answerphone picks up anyway). They said something about unusual activity on my internet and warned they’d shut it off unless I pressed 1 to talk and sort it out. Problem is, I haven’t been a BT customer in yonks. Feels dodgy to me, like pressing 1 might be a trap or something.
