This afternoon, my partner received a rather similar email addressed to them, featuring the same individuals that used to live at my former address. It requested that they get in touch with the sender to confirm residence, claiming that these parties have the authority to disclose information related to my instructions concerning this matter. Honestly, I'm baffled by the whole situation and have no clue what they’re on about! It all sounds incredibly suspicious! We received one of those letters today and promptly reached out to the London office for clarification. It turns out it's about a failure to properly declare that we’d laid our car off the road, which has left us rather anxious ever since the letter arrived. Thankfully, we’re able to settle the £80 penalty right away. The lady we spoke to on the phone was exceptionally kind and accommodating. We clarified that this was an oversight on our part, noting that we had contacted the DVLA over a year ago to inform them of the blunder, yet we have not received any reply. We suspect that any correspondence may have been misdirected to our previous address.

Received a rather alarming letter hinting at potential legal action, but the reasoning behind it remains a complete mystery-no details provided whatsoever. Who on earth are these individuals, and what agenda are they pursuing? The correspondence claims they’re part of Inter-Credit International. I took it upon myself to verify with Companies House, and indeed, Inter-Credit International does appear to be a legitimate firm. However, there's no clear indication of any ongoing civil inquiries associated with them. I’ve no intention of reaching out to them and would strongly advise others against doing so as well.

I just got a phone call from somewhere in England, where they said they're looking for me. When I rang them back, they claimed my car is still registered in the UK and that I haven't paid my vehicle tax, according to DVLA. This is bonkers because my car’s had a Swedish registration for over a year now. All the paperwork was sorted out properly between DVLA over here and Transportstyrelsen in Sweden. I even sent a signed form to DVLA to notify them about the permanent export. So I’m really confused about what’s going on. Now, these bailiffs or whoever they are want me to prove that I’m telling the truth. Do they really have any authority to make me do that? It all seems a bit dodgy to me.
