6 yearsThis morning, on 08/01/2021, I got about six calls on my home phone from this number and maybe some slightly different ones starting with 020. They claimed to be from SKY, warning me that hackers were trying to get into my router. Luckily, with over 25 years in IT, I’m not easily fooled by their tech talk meant to confuse folks. I gave them a sharp response, not exactly polite. Told them that genuine SKY reps would be asking proper security questions - which these lot didn’t. If you get a call like this, don’t follow any instructions they give. They said they wanted to install software on my router - total nonsense! Watch out for this scam.
