Got a call from abroad, using a number that’s supposedly part of the DDI range at UEL. The line doesn’t actually work and they’re not making any calls out from it. Definitely a scam!

I've received a call from abroad, and it seems they’re using a number assigned to a DDI block at the University of East London. It’s clearly not an active line, as there aren’t any outgoing calls being registered from that number. It’s definitely a scam - the caller seems to be from some overseas call centre!
