I received a dodgy call purporting to be from BT, claiming there were some urgent issues with my broadband connection. They didn’t bother to mention my name, which was quite odd, and when I inquired about who they wanted to chat with, they just rambled on about broadband troubles. The kicker? There’s no broadband at all on that line! Clearly, it’s all a ruse.
