Got a call from this number (02082045497), bloke sounded like he was Indian and was trying to tell me he could get my website to the top of Google search. I just said "No thanks, I’m alright" and hung up. But then, like half an hour after, my WordPress site got hacked full of spam ads. Ended up having to take it offline, lost loads of stuff I hadn’t backed up, had to erase everything and put up an old copy that now needs sorting all over again. Proper nuisance!

Got a call from someone named "Sam" claiming to be from an accident helpline, sounded just like the other stories here. Definitely not a local, sounded off. I told them calmly that I’ve never had an accident and then they just ended the call. They kept ringing me over and over afterwards. I’ve flagged this number to TPS multiple times but they just don’t stop calling. Honestly, don’t share any details with them.

So I picked up the phone and this bloke starts off by asking if I've been in any accidents before, saying he was with the National Accident Helpline or something like that. Then he wanted to know where I live, and said he was calling from Pakistan or somewhere close to that. When I told him I wasn’t sharing my info, he just went off on me with rude language. Honestly, watch out! This guy is definitely a scammer and you should never hand over any personal info on the phone!

Like many others, I get calls from a bloke with a Middle Eastern accent, saying he’s from some sort of crash injury support line. He rings pretty much all times of the day. Normally, I manage to toss a few rude words his way before he quickly drops the call like a coward. Total scam artists, idiots really. I’d recommend not sharing any real info with them - make up stuff instead unless you’re feeling cheeky and want to mess around with them for a bit.
