Just like what others said, they said they were from hmrc saying I had some kind of fraud case, told me to press 1 or I'd get arrested soon. I didn’t bother and ended the call immediately, then put the number on block.

Got a call from someone saying they were from HMRC and claimed there was a fraud case against me. They told me to press 1 or else the cops would be involved. Just ignored it, hung up, and blocked their number straight away. Definitely a scam.

Got a recorded message from "hmrc" claiming I owed £1,350 and threatening arrest if I didn’t talk to an officer. Then some Indian bloke said police would come in an hour if I didn’t pay over the phone. Total scam! Make sure you report it so others don’t get caught out!
