I just gave that number a buzz and it turned out to be invalid, so I’m almost certain it’s a total SCAM!!
If it was genuinely HMRC, surely there’d be someone picking up, right?!?
Anyway, fingers crossed my two reports help anyone else getting calls from this number. I’VE BLOCKED IT TOO. Cheers to everyone who runs this website, really appreciate it. Kezzie. XxX

I got a call from some bloke with a robotic voice saying it was HMRC and to press 1 if I want more info. Feels dodgy to me, heard about these calls where they get you to press a number and then you end up on some premium rate line that costs loads. Could be wrong though. I’m thinking of calling back just to see who picks up.
