I can smell trouble from this number right from the off. It appears to be some chap from abroad, dialling up random folks with a rather predictable spiel. He claims you're under investigation for tax evasion and insists that you must adhere to HMRC's orders, or else face jail time. It's certainly an unpleasant call, but honestly, it's such a daft ruse that I can't see how anyone would actually buy into it.
