Got a call from someone claiming to be HMRC, saying I’m being investigated for tax fraud and that if I don’t press 2 right away, I’ll get arrested. What a load of rubbish! Total scam.

I got a voicemail on my phone today, claiming to be from HMRC about some tax fraud I’m apparently involved in. They said if I didn’t hit 1, a warrant for my arrest would be put out soon. I just hung up straight away. There’s no way it’s legit because I haven’t got any tax problems. Still, I reckon some folks might get really spooked by that and press 1, which could lead to god knows what. What a nasty scam!
