Got a call out of the blue from someone saying they were from the national lottery, sounded like they were from up north, maybe somewhere near leeds. They were trying to pitch some special discount tickets, said it was a limited offer for three months starting in december. No need to pay anything right away, they said they’d send a pack by post with all the info, including some lucky dip tickets. They wanted payment set up through direct debit, but wouldn't take anything until i sent the paperwork back. I told them i don’t give my bank info to cold callers and they quickly ended the call.
