7 yearsI received a rather dubious call today from someone with a British accent, claiming they were reaching out to discuss the renewal of my TV insurance, which, according to them, was due to expire today. They went on about how my warranty had lapsed and how they could assist in renewing it. The funny thing is, my warranty has been expired for a couple of years now! I mentioned that my home insurance would cover everything, and, rather shockingly, they just cut the line. If that were a genuine call centre, they surely wouldn't be allowed to hang up on a customer like that.
