Got a call claiming to be from Vodafone offering me an upgrade. They never bothered to ask who I was or check if I’m even with Vodafone. They just said I could switch to a Samsung and asked if I wanted to proceed. Thing is, I had my phone upgraded just 5 months back, and the genuine Vodafone people are quite strict about using your full contract before letting you upgrade again. Definitely seemed off to me.

Here's what happened: I received a couple of calls from a London phone number. Each time I picked up, the person on the other end just disconnected immediately without a word. When I tried ringing back, the number wasn’t in service or something because it wouldn’t go through.
