He rang me loads but never sent anything in writing, and I could barely make out what he was saying. Since we’re a church, I got in touch with our energy company and they told me it definitely wasn’t them. When I challenged him on it, he claimed it was someone else from another department and denied trying to scam us. I told him his actions looked exactly like a con and made it clear I never wanted to hear from him again.8 monthsGot a few calls trying to get our meter readings, and of course, it turned out to be one of those Indian scammers!
