4 yearsI received a rather questionable phone call the other day from a chap with an Asian accent, sounding very much like he was stationed in a bustling call centre, what with the chatter of others in the background. He claimed to be representing Virgin Media, insisting that there was an issue with our Internet hub and that I should comply with his instructions on my computer. However, as luck would have it, we don't own a PC! Nevertheless, I feigned compliance and acted as though I was following along with his guidance. It quickly became evident that his intention was to remotely access my computer and pull off some sort of fraudulent scheme.
