I received a call today from someone claiming to be a technician addressing a supposed issue with my Internet connection. They asked me to look at the colour of my router and inquired about the devices I had connected to it. Then, out of the blue, they asserted that these devices were responsible for the erratic Internet service I’d been experiencing. They directed me to a website named "validator" and wanted me to enter certain information into a field. At that moment, I refused, feeling quite uneasy and sensing their rather hasty and aggressive tone. I decided to hang up, almost falling prey to a scam, all because my Internet had been acting up recently!

This con artist attempted to reach me, claiming to be from the Microsoft tech support team, discussing supposed problems and viruses plaguing my computer. I assure you, this number is nothing but a scam!
