He barely spoke any English, and when I asked him to try another language, he spoke in Punjabi and said he’s from Faisalabad, Pakistan. I received calls from an Indian gentleman attempting to peddle energy services. When I mentioned I’d get back to him, he bluntly claimed his number wasn’t real and then became quite offensive. I run a little café myself and I’ve received two calls from this number today. The second caller claimed to be unaware of the first conversation. They stated they were representing my electricity provider and hinted at an imminent shutdown of the main power supply in our vicinity, warning that it could lead to higher bills for me. They were essentially trying to persuade me to switch suppliers, likely to their own company - Opus Energy, if I recall correctly. I’ve decided to block this number immediately and I’d recommend that others do likewise to avoid any hassle!
