I tried to be polite and mentioned we’re too busy to take these kinds of calls. He quickly replied, ‘I’m not selling you anything!’ When I explained again that we just don’t have the time, he got quite snappy and ended with, ‘Alright, we’ll leave it at that. Goodbye,’ then hung up abruptly.

got a call today from some asian bloke, sounded like all the others folks have talked about here, proper strong accent. he claimed he fitted our boiler and said he worked for green energy ltd from some gov.uk thing. while i double checked on the site he kept asking if anyone in the house gets benefits. i stayed suspicious so didn’t give him any details, just told him to ring back the next day. after hanging up, i looked into it and honestly don’t trust the guy, so i blocked his number straight away.
