Today, 27/08/2025, I got a call from this number claiming to be from Sky, offering some kind of deal. They asked me to open my Google email, which I did, but when it took ages and felt off, I cut it short. Later, I saw some dodgy activity on my cards, so I contacted Google straight away and managed to sort everything out.

Got a call saying it was from Lloyds Bank but it was definitely a scam. Make sure you report it and don’t get tricked!

A person with a strong foreign accent called me up, speaking really bad English and saying they were from the bank’s fraud team about some suspicious stuff on my account. I told them to buzz off pretty quickly and didn’t fall for their nonsense.

Called claiming to be with EE, but the person had a really thick Asian accent. Was trying to sell a SIM-only plan. Got quite aggressive and rude when I refused to give out my info.

Got a call that seemed like it was from EE but turned out to be a classic scam. Pretty annoying how they try to trick you like that.

Somebody rang pretending to be from Virgin or O2 and asked for my dad by name. Since my dad's never had anything to do with either Virgin or O2, I’m pretty sure it was a scam.

So, this bloke said he was from EE when he rang me, but when I asked what exactly he wanted he just asked if I didn’t trust him or summat. I told him straight up I’m not trustin’ anyone who calls with numbers I don’t recognise, and he goes and laughs, being really cheeky. Then I overheard another guy in the background saying he was from EON or summat, so yeah, it’s gotta be some kinda scam for sure.

Definitely a dodgy call. The person first said they were from O2 Telefonica, which I’ve never used. Then switched to Vodafone, and ended up with EE. At no point did they mention my actual provider. I really hope that NTSC or some authority takes these complaints seriously and shuts down these numbers. It’s the elderly who are most at risk of falling for these tricks.

This number rang me claiming to be from EE, but from the start something felt off about the way they spoke. When I asked for some simple info that a proper EE agent would know straight away, the caller got all snappy. Then the worst happened - they asked me if I was black, saying "you sound like a n****r!" I was honestly stunned. Definitely a scam, so I ended the call and blocked them right away.

Got a call claiming to be from EE, talking about some 30% discount but only if you sign up for one contract phone. I told them they should really have the account holder’s number and should be reaching out to them, not me. They sounded a bit annoyed after that. I said I’d think about it and call back if I’m interested, though I was pretty sure it was a scam. Then I overheard them mutter something like “whatever” and the line went dead.

They said they were from EE but it was defo a scam, not the real deal!

Got a call claiming to be from EE, saying since I've been with them ages and have good credit, they could give me a 30% discount on my bill. Didn't bother staying on the line and just ended the call.

Got a call from someone saying they were from Virgin Media or O2, telling me my SIM was going to be disabled in a couple of days, and they’d arrange a new one sent by dpd if I verified my info. I thought it sounded dodgy, so I just ended the call. They rang me straight back after but I didn’t bother answering.
