Got a text from 07443 746515 claiming there was an issue with a payment to Argos and asking me to call a 020 number. I tried calling them back but something felt off, so I hung up right away before speaking to anyone. Later, I rang my bank who told me the number had no connection to them at all. Definitely a dodgy scam.

I got a spam call pretending to be from Apple Pay, definitely best not to answer or engage with those people. Feels really risky.

Got a dodgy call, a recorded voice claiming there was suspicious Visa activity on my card. Said I’d been charged £300 to Amazon and over £1100 to some foreign account. Total nonsense. I hit 2 to chat with someone and told the “advisor” they were the con artists. She then actually had the nerve to ask why I thought so! Honestly, don’t pick up or play their game.

This definitely reeks of a con! They were prattling on about an unpaid bill of about £98. Kept insisting that we hit 1 to talk more. We chose to end the call instead.
