Got a call today from some bloke saying he was with the film company behind The Inbetweeners. He rang my mobile, which is on the TPS list, saying they wanted to send me details about some investment opportunities. Thing is, I’ve never put money in anything like that, don’t have the cash for it anyway. What really threw me was that he knew my first name - clearly they’d sourced my info from somewhere dodgy. I just hung up and blocked the number straight away. Felt like a total scam if you ask me!

Got a call from a friendly sounding American chap (bit of a relief, not the usual Indian voices) trying to pitch some film production investment stuff. Pretty unusual these days!

Got a call from someone pitching an investment for a film biz. He said we’d chatted about it last year but I honestly don’t remember any of that. Left him on hold for a bit and then he just ended the call.
