got a call from 020 8166 7233 and it was this really cheeky bloke with an indian accent claiming to be from eon. told him i wasn’t a customer but he kept going on like i was. after i said i wasn’t interested, he kept ringing me back which was annoying as. finally, i got a bit stern and told him straight up he was just trying to scam me. since then, he hasn’t called. i’ve blocked the number now so hopefully no more hassle.

Got a call from 02081667664, this bloke with a heavy Indian accent was pretty rude. Claimed he was ringing from Eon, but I told him I wasn’t with them at all. He didn’t believe me and kept pushing it. I had to end the call, but he kept ringing again and again. After blocking that number, he started calling from another one, 020 8166 7233, using the exact same line. In the end, I told him straight up that he was a scammer, and thankfully, he’s stopped trying to call me since then. Fingers crossed it stays that way.

I got loads of calls from some dodgy numbers pretending to be different energy companies. Once I told one of them I wasn't with British Gas, they just switched to another company's name straight away. I ended up blocking the number to stop the hassle.

Got a call from a guy claiming to be with EDF, very cheeky and rude about our contract being up. Tried returning the call but the number just wouldn’t go through. Some scam, I reckon.

Got a call from an Indian guy who was really disrespectful. When I asked to speak to his manager, he just told me to shut up and F off. I've tried blocking the number but it keeps coming through. I warned him I'd report the number to the police and since then, thankfully, he hasn't phoned again!

Got a call from a man with an Indian accent claiming to be some sort of manager. He said something about an EDF contract that had supposedly ended. He asked for my meter and bill numbers and was quite rude about it. Definitely felt dodgy.
