a bloke rang me claiming he was from British Telecom, saying there was some kind of virus or corruption on my computer linked to my area. He sounded like he mightve been from India or Pakistan, maybe Nigeria, not really sure. I ended the call straight away and later called BT myself to confirm, and yep, they told me it was a scam.
