Got a call from a woman with an Indian accent asking if I’d been having any problems with my signal. I told her yes, and she claimed to be from EE, explaining that since they joined with BT, a few customers had complained about reception and they wanted to send me a new SIM. She even asked if I wanted to keep my old number or get a new one. When she said she’d connect me to the team to sort out the SIM delivery, I just hung up. They rang me back right away but I didn’t answer. The number they called from was 020 8163 2277.

Absolute charlatan! The bloke threatened me with violence and requested my address to track me down. Refused to disclose his location as well. Quite unsettling, to say the least.

I received a call from a woman with an Indian accent who said she was representing my internet provider. She inquired whether I was experiencing any problems with my internet connection. I decided to hang up without engaging further.
