I was fooled at first and thought it was legit, but thankfully I rang up EE and they sorted out my account before anything bad happened. Total scam, no doubt about it.

Somebody rang saying they were from EE, but I just told them straight that we both knew they weren’t legit. After that, they just ended the call.

They said they were from "3G," which isn't my network, so I'm pretty sure it's a scam. I don't use 3G at all.

Got a call saying it was from THREE, telling me I could upgrade my phone. Thing is, I’d just done an upgrade like 3 days earlier. So, I had a bit of fun with them 😂 fed them made-up info and bogus card numbers. They even said I’d get the new phone in a couple of days, lol. Now I’m waiting to ring them back and let them know I’m onto their game - I’ve got their location, I know they’re not really in London and that they’re actually in India. Seriously, watch out and don’t fall for these scams!!!!!

Got a call from someone claiming to be from Three Mobile, trying to trick me into signing a phone contract. Definitely felt like a scam to me.

I got a call from what seemed like a scam call centre in India, trying to push some amazing offers on the 3 network. I managed to track the number back to Mumbai. When I told the guy on the line exactly where he and his team were working from, he got really anxious. I ended up passing all that info along to the local police in Mumbai.

I got a call, said it was from 3, about some bill I supposedly hadn’t paid. Told the guy to give me my customer number to check, and he just ended the call right away. Definitely a scam!

This number rang me but because it showed up either as no caller ID or one I didn’t recognise, I didn’t answer. Later, there was a voicemail saying they were from EE and that I hadn’t settled my internet bill. Problem is, I don’t even have EE as my internet provider.

Totally a scam trying to pass off as EE, these lot clearly didn’t know my actual name, which they would have if it was legit. I got a call from this young Chinese lady, and the minute I said I’m a fraud investigator, she just bailed straight away. Honestly, they won’t be ringing me back, haha.

A lady phoned me, saying she was from EE with a deal on upgrading to the new iPhone 16 for £35 a month. Then I was transferred to a bloke claiming he worked for Sky. He asked for loads of personal info - bank account, card details including the CVV, my full name, address, birth date, email, even my mum’s maiden name and a special date. Knowing it was dodgy, I gave him fake details. The guy rang me back to double-check everything, but I told him I knew it was a scam and then blocked the number straight away!

Got a call from some bloke claiming to give a 40% off on a phone, sounded like he was from India or somewhere. He had no clue about who I actually am and wanted me to give my email to send some kind of verification. I said no and hung up, but the guy kept ringing me back a couple of times without stopping. Definitely a scammer!

Got a call from a lady speaking with an Indian accent, and I could hear other voices chatting in the background. She was pushing some deal about getting a free iPhone or Samsung. When I told her I wasn’t interested, she actually started shouting at me asking why I wasn’t interested. I just ended the call. Seriously, I’d suggest blocking this number if it rings you.

Got a call from a guy in India who sounded really flustered, claiming he wanted to give me some sort of compensation from 3Three. He kept pestering for my bank info but didn’t even seem sure who I was or which company I worked for. I've already let 3Three know about it. @3three #3three

Got a call from someone claiming to be from “EE”, even tho I’m not an EE customer. They were trying to offer me some kind of deal on phone plans. When I asked what time it was in London, they just stayed silent for like 2 minutes! I could hear loads of other voices in the background, all sounding Indian, and the person on the phone was Indian too. Very strange.

This number has called me twice within an hour. It’s a landline, so why is it still ringing my phone? Can’t they just disconnect it or something?

I got a ring from someone saying they were from EE, trying to get me to do an upgrade. Thing is, EE never offers upgrades like that. When I asked a few questions, they seemed a bit confused and ended up being quite argumentative, which pretty much gave the game away. Definitely just another spam call.

I got a call from this number twice right after each other, saying it was EE trying to pitch some amazing upgrade deal. The lady on the line had quite a bad grasp of English, and she sounded really young and a bit excitable. Honestly, it felt like a scam to me. From what I know, EE wouldn’t go about things like this, and my past dealings with them have always been much more professional.
