The voice sounded like it came from somewhere around Liverpool or Manchester, although I might be wrong. The caller asked if my house was rented from the council or a housing assoc, and when I said no, they just hung up. When I tried calling back, there was some music and then the call got cut off. My phone flagged it as a possible scam too. I’ve decided to block the number now. Honestly, it feels pretty shady - could’ve been trying to get info for identity theft or something equally dodgy.

Got a call from someone about Council or Housing Association tenants. I told them straight away to take me off their list since I own my place. Feels like it could be a dodgy scam to me. I just picked up 'cause I was curious, but lately the amount of spam calls I get has gone up a lot in the last fortnight. Anyway, I blocked the number.
