Some woman with an Indian accent kept ringing me, saying I’d been in an accident - which simply isn’t true! Honestly, stop bothering me with these calls!

Had some weirdo pretending to be from car insurance ringing me up, obviously trying to pull a crash scam. Total dodgy behaviour.

Upon picking up the phone, I was greeted by a rather robotic voice insisting it was from HMRC, notifying me of an alleged arrest warrant against me. They urged me to press 1 to get in touch with my legal representative. It struck me as a rather brazen attempt to intimidate people into panic.

I got a call from someone saying they were from Legal and General claiming I'd been in an accident, which I definitely haven't. They asked for me by name, so naturally I wanted to know who was calling before I said anything. The woman on the phone just kept saying 'Anna' and refused to say what company she was from unless I confirmed my identity first. After asking a few times, she started getting really rude. When she finally blurted out the company name, I told her to do one, especially since it was a cold call and her tone was really unpleasant!
