12 yearsI received a call from this number earlier today, where a lady claimed to be from Microsoft. She was rather persistent, urging me to fire up my computer since, apparently, my Microsoft systems were on the verge of collapsing. When I inquired about her contact details, she provided me with the number above. Taking my time, I pretended to prepare for her guidance by making myself a nice cup of tea. When I returned to the line after a good ten minutes, bless her, she was still there! I then decided to have a bit of fun and told her I faced a grave issue as my computer wouldn’t switch on. Her tone shifted slightly-she got a bit irritated and insisted I just turn it on. At that point, I couldn’t help but ask her if she thought I was daft!
