This firm said they were doing government-backed boiler improvements. I kept telling them no, but they didnt seem to take it well.

I keep getting calls where they just drop the line as soon as I answer. I guess it’s some automated system dialling loads of numbers simultaneously, maybe like twenty or so, but only about half that many people to actually take the calls. So the ones without an agent end up getting cut off straight away. They’re banking on plenty of calls going unanswered and try to cover their bases by ringing more people than staff available. It’s really frustrating, especially since they then flag your number to ring back later.
