Had a call from some scammers that sounded like they were from India. Honestly, best to just hang up and avoid chatting with these crooks.

My partner got an email about Norton security with that number linked, telling her to install some app called AnyDesk. Turns out it’s meant for hacking. I jumped in and told her to quit straight away and explained why. The call ended then. I looked up the number here just to be sure I wasn’t imagining things. Cheers to everyone for the help!

I got a strange invoice attached with this number on it, showing a charge of £486.19 for Norton Security. The email that came with it says something like: "Hello, You can change or cancel the bid for 901322659 before the issue deadline using the right form at the specified branch. Also, if you have a Depository Participant account, your details will be filled in automatically." Looks suspicious to me, like a scam to make me ring that number.

Since I've never engaged with Norton before and the invoice looks incredibly suspect, I can only conclude it's a scam.

One of my clients got an email about renewing their Norton Lifelock antivirus and it said the cost was £468.65. Don’t ring the number they gave - it’s definitely a con.

Got an email with a receipt for £450, supposedly for a three year Norton antivirus renewal. The email came from a Gmail address, so it’s definitely not legit. The number they gave was meant to be Norton’s, but don’t call it, or you’ll end up paying 16p a minute!
