Anyway, the chap claimed that if I retrieved my funds, he’d pocket a tidy sum of 4000 euros. I kept insisting that I hadn’t lost any money, but he was adamant it was mine that had been taken. When I suggested it was all a bit of a joke, he didn't take it well at all.
