I received a call from an individual purporting to represent something called Carbon Capital. After doing a bit of digging, I realised they’re a complete sham. They had my information, presumably gleaned from my social media accounts, and insisted I had registered with them. The pressure to remain on the line and commit was incredibly bothersome. In the end, I hung up and swiftly blocked their number.
