Got a call with no number showing up, so I just ignored it. Later I saw that the number was linked to Colt Technology, so I rang them up to check if it was really from them. Some tech assistant told me it wasn’t one of their lines. Pretty sure it would have been dodgy if I’d actually answered.

Got a call claiming to be from EE saying my contract ends in 4 days and I need a new SIM. Feels like a scam to me.

So this bloke rings up saying he’s sending out a new SIM card, right? When I asked which company he was with, he got really nasty and kinda pushy. I reckon it’s a total scam. Then, when I said I wanted to speak to his manager, he just switched his accent halfway while pretending to put me through. Weird as!
