Weird thing happened, got a call from this number and then a week later started getting repeated calls from another London number. The person said she was from Sky, an Indian lady claiming someone’s been hacking into my Sky account and had access to my debit and credit cards. But the weird part was she couldn’t provide any real info about the account holder and just ended the call abruptly. Only a couple of family members and me have ever had my landline number. Plus, I use my neighbour’s broadband with permission, so I knew straight away it wasn’t really Sky calling. Total scam, if you ask me.

Heard a woman with an Eastern accent like she was in the middle of saying something, then dropped some gobbledygook like "[email protected]" and quickly cut off. This bloke with a foreign accent rang me on my mobile after failing to get me on my home line - we always have the answerphone on there. I couldn't catch what he was saying properly, kept asking who he was, but he just ignored me. So I tried asking where he was ringing from, like which company or place. He said Ireland. I was like, "Wait, you're calling from Ireland?" and he confirmed. Then I told him, "If you’re calling from Ireland, why does your number show up with a London area code?"
