Hello there! I’ve received a call from a centre offering to switch my energy supplier for gas and electricity. I suspect they’re using some sort of automated system that calls multiple people at once; when someone picks up, it disconnects the others in the queue. I’ve noticed that if I pick up these unknown numbers and remain silent - not even uttering a ‘hello’ - they tend to hang up on me, and I've found they don't ring me as frequently anymore.
