Got a call from 02081540129, a woman named Sierra claiming to be from Phonesmart, saying she was ringing on behalf of o2 about my contract renewal. Thing is, I’m not nearing any renewal period and o2 normally reaches out themselves, so I just told her I wasn’t interested and ended the call.

Got a dodgy call about Council Property insurance, but it doesn’t even apply if you’re in N Ireland. Best thing to do is just end the call and block the number straight away.

SCAM ALERT. I can't understand why this is just allowed to happen with no real punishment. Honestly, i don't want to be the person who has to track these lowlifes down and sort em out properly, but if that's what it takes to put an end to the scamming, especially when they're basically stealing from vulnerable elderly folks, then so be it. Thanks a lot for not doing anything to stop these nasty criminals from taking everything people have worked so hard for, often leaving them with nothing at all.

A woman claimed to be calling from Three mobile. I told her I wasn’t interested as I’m locked into a 2 year deal. Then she asked if someone else in the house might want it. I said I live by myself. Next, she asked if I wanted an extra line. I mean, what would I even use a second mobile line for? Some people say it’s O2 calling. This makes me feel it’s more than just some sales pitch, maybe a dodgy scam.

They said they were from "Phone Smart", which I've never come across before. They kept asking for my mum, since it used to be her number. I find it easy to spot scammers when they ask for someone else instead of me. Said they were doing comparison stuff for Three, but it sounded dodgy. They rang loads of times in one day, really annoying and felt like harassment.

I do night shifts and was fast asleep when this number rang me like ten times in a short span. I answered on the tenth try, half out of it, and it was someone claiming to be from a “phone company” pushing “great offers”.
