We received a call from this number, and it was rather amusing, to say the least. On the other end was a chap with a rather thick Indian accent, trying to inform us about a job opportunity that we were apparently seeking. However, the poor bloke seemed utterly befuddled, as he couldn't quite wrap his head around the fact that the position was supposedly in London but also mentioned Milton Keynes. It was as if he thought those two places were one and the same! Despite our best attempts to clarify things, it felt like we were speaking to a recording, with him just reciting lines from a script and ignoring our questions altogether. He claimed to be from a recruitment firm, but honestly, the whole thing gave off a rather dodgy vibe. Definitely left us scratching our heads!

I received a couple of calls within the space of an hour, both of which we weren’t able to answer. Strangely enough, there was no voicemail left. It seems reminiscent of that time when a company was trying to work offshore, but there was actually no genuine employment opportunity; they were simply casting a wide net. If this were a legitimate job and the callers truly wanted to get in touch, I reckon they would have left a message at the very least.

It's rather unprofessional that they didn't bother leaving a voicemail; that’s the bare minimum we would anticipate. Nevertheless, we’re curious to find out what they're after and hope to connect with them soon to clarify their motives.

Many of those went one step further, shifting the workload to companies abroad to boost their profits.
