Got a call today from someone with a thick foreign accent, starting off with a “Hello Sir...” but they didn’t even know my name. I could hear what sounded like a really loud TV banging away in the back. Ended it straight away and blocked the number. Knowing how these things go, I’m bracing myself for a stream of numbers ringing me over the next couple of weeks.
