A person called Sam claimed to be from O2 - after making me spell my name a few times and repeating who O2 were multiple times. Sam then asked if I wanted to save half on my O2 phone bill. I said I don’t have an O2 account. Sam got annoyed and said I was wasting his time. I told him I wasn’t wasting his time and reminded him he was the one calling me. He asked again why I was wasting his time, then just hung up. By the way, I really don’t have an O2 account. If Sam really works for O2, he definitely needs some training on 1) customer service and 2) controlling his temper.

I had an encounter with a chap who claimed to be affiliated with O2, but I could tell straight away he was from India. He was fishing for a security code that supposedly was texted to me as part of a brilliant offer for a 40% discount on my tariff. Classic scam, if you ask me! I decided to have a bit of sport with him, so I chatted away for about ten minutes just to see how far he’d go. It was rather entertaining! 😉

Call finished, then get the same call again 10 minutes later. Then the same again 5 days after that. Blocked him straight away.

Foolishly, I told them my bank info, but I’ve now contacted my bank to sort it out. They said I was getting an upgrade soon, which seemed odd from the start. And as you might guess - no phone ever turned up. Quite dodgy if you ask me!
