This morning, I got a call from some woman abroad chatting about my SIM card, but she phoned the wrong number anyway, so I blocked it. I told her straight up that I wasn’t into whatever she was selling and that it sounded like a scam. She said, “How can this be a scam? I’m not after your bank info, just warning you that your SIM will stop working in three days.” Yeah, right, like I’m buying that. Ever heard of the BBC scam catchers? That’s when she just ended the call.
