They've called me about 5 times now. The first time I answered, I told the bloke there’s no computer in my house. He kept going on about how some crooks were stealing money from my bank through my laptop. I kept saying I don’t even own a laptop on this number. He just got more pushy and angry until he ended the call. Total scam - both him and whoever he’s working for should be proper ashamed.

A guy with a Pak*stani accent (didn’t say his name) called me up saying my computer was having issues. Weirdly enough, my laptop has actually stopped working and won’t start at all. He even guessed it was a laptop, which freaked me out a bit. I told him I’d be reporting this to Action Fraud. Honestly, this whole thing’s got me pretty anxious that my laptop’s been targeted by scammers. The only passwords I’ve stored are for BT and Scottish Power. My email has two-factor auth, as does my bank account with three-step verification. I never save card details on any site. So how on earth did they manage to get access?
