I got a call today, the third time they'd rung me, all the same dodgy scam. I played along saying I was using an Apple computer and kept him chatting for about 10 minutes. Then he started going on about revoking my licence. Total con artists, honestly. They really ought to be locked up for this.

Got a call from Emelia Jones using this number. Just like others have said, they were really pushy and wouldn’t accept no. My mum, who’s 84, got the same call and was pretty worried afterwards. Good job she rang me while they were still on the line, I told her to ignore them and just end the call. I can’t understand why the phone companies let these scammers keep abusing the system like this.

I received a phone call from a chap named Isaac claiming to be from Microsoft Support based in Reading, and he provided me with this number. He mentioned there were issues with my computer and that he would assist me in resolving them. Be cautious, folks! This is a clear scam. Do not grant him, or any other individual for that matter, access to your device!

Got a call from a bloke with a strong Indian accent claiming he was from Microsoft. Said he needed to verify who owned and used my computer. I told him I'd call back and he gave me the number 02081449460, saying he was calling from London. He started babbling loads, so I just asked, "Do you take me for a fool or what?" That pissed him right off. I told him to jog on and slammed the phone down! Would recommend everyone just hang up on these muppets!

Some guy from India, said his name was Mark Williams, called me. As soon as I told him my partner’s a cop and my brother works at Microsoft, he just ended the call straight away. Seriously, don’t share any info with him, not even your name.

I’ve just received a rather concerning phone call from a woman named Jennifer, who had a distinctly Indian accent. She pretended to represent Microsoft and insisted that my computer had been compromised. She urged me to switch it on so she could assist me in resolving the issue. Naturally, I grew suspicious and asked for a callback number. After several attempts to convince me to power on my device, she eventually provided me with a number to reach her at. I can’t shake off the feeling that this could be a scam, and I’m in the process of contacting Microsoft for clarification!

I received this number during a chat, under the impression it belonged to Microsoft, supposedly from someone claiming to be linked to their staff, asking me to verify its legitimacy. When I rang, the response was rather curious - they answered with 'M Soft.' Naturally, I found it peculiar and inquired if the individual was indeed affiliated with Microsoft, to which they confirmed. This whole scenario could very well be an intricate ruse, perhaps something to do with the so-called hacking of computers by Chinese entities? I'm still looking into this matter further.

I received a phone call from a chap identifying himself as David Watson, supposedly from Microsoft, with the ID M V 5312. He claimed that someone had been downloading files from my computer without my consent. When I inquired about his contact details so I could ring him back, it got a bit fishy.

So far, I’ve had 3 calls from this number. The woman on the line, who said her name was Julie Watson and sounded Asian, insisted no one else from Microsoft had been in touch. When I mentioned I can't switch my computer on because of my disability, she threatened to call back in a couple of hours and warned that I might lose my licence. The number she called from was 02081449460.

Caller said she was Lisa Roberts with an Asian accent but had no caller ID. She gave me this number (02081449460) to prove who she was. I told her I’d already had 5 calls from Microsoft claiming the same thing, but she insisted no one else from Microsoft had ever called me! I asked if that meant the other four were fibbing, and she said yes. Then when I questioned how I could trust her, she just hung up on me. Really annoying, but as long as I’m not getting tricked, at least they’re wasting their time on me instead of someone who might believe their rubbish. Feels like getting mugged!

I got a call today from 02081449460 claiming my computer was infected with spyware. They told me if I didn’t switch it on and follow their instructions, they'd revoke my licence. It was pretty annoying and felt like harassment. We just ended the call. They've rung a few times already, each time sounding more pushy than before.

I’ve had calls from this number three times over the last few days. First time it was a woman, then twice men answered. They kept saying they were from Microsoft and that my computer was at risk of being hacked. It’s clearly a scam. Does anyone know if there’s a way to report this number or block it properly? These constant calls are really annoying.

Today my mum got a call from a bloke with an Indian or Asian accent claiming to be from Microsoft, telling her to switch her computer on. Not long after, she got another call, this time from 01224390233, with a similar story but a woman speaking. I reckon these two numbers are connected to the same scam. Fingers crossed they get what’s coming to them soon.

Got a call from 02081449460, the guy claimed to be from Microsoft. My work PC apparently was sending weird messages, and he spoke in this thick Indian accent. Asked me to let him access my computer remotely. No chance I was falling for that!

Got a call from some bloke named Alex Stuart, claiming to be from Windows. I kept him chatting for about 15 minutes while my mates in the office had a right chuckle listening in. If that number rings you, just say it’s a work line and they usually hang up straight away. Was quite amusing hearing him going on about the Chinese hacking into my computer and swearing only he could fix it!

Had a call from a woman called Lisa Williams with an Indian accent, who claimed she could sort out my computer, even though it wasn't faulty at all. She couldn't even give straightforward answers when I asked about the issue. Definitely feels like a scam. Watch out for these folks - they’re dodgy and really should be reported.

Today I got a couple of calls from a guy named Alex Martins, talking about some Microsoft account linked to my elderly dad - who honestly doesn’t even own one! From the start, it seemed like a total scam. So, I decided to mess with the bloke, playing along in a jokingly polite way until he actually hung up on me. It was quite entertaining! When I asked for a number to reach him back, he gave me this one. I also requested an email to prove his identity, but when I followed up, nothing turned up, and that's when he realised he’d been caught out. Definitely didn’t give up easily!

This morning, at 8:27, I got a call from someone claiming hackers were messing with my PC. She told me not to turn it on until she could guide me through fixing it. I told her to get lost and said she’d just woken me up. Then, I used 1471 to check the number she called from, which was 03448002400 - I didn’t recognise it at all. Bizarrely, she rang back just now. I told her the number was unknown to me, and she threw another one at me, 02081449460, saying to ask for Mary Williams. Yeah, like I’m falling for that!

I received a call from someone purporting to be from Microsoft, who insisted that my computer was infected with a virus. He asked for remote access to assist me in resolving the issue. Thankfully, I recognised it as a scam and declined his request. He provided the number above for me to ring back, asserting it belonged to Microsoft technical support. Such tactics are absolutely dodgy!

Got a call from some guy called Edward, sounded Indian, saying my computer was infected with a virus. He claimed he was from Windows (not Microsoft), offering to sort it out for me. They wanted me to either download stuff or send files over email, which seemed fishy as heck. Complete scam if you ask me. If it was really Windows, they’d just push an automatic update, not hassle you like that. Seriously, don’t fall for it - antivirus programs exist for a reason!

I've been getting constant calls from 02081449460, it's really annoying. The people on the other end claim they're from Microsoft but I checked with Microsoft myself and they're definitely not. They tell you your computer's been hacked and try to scare you into handing over £350 to renew some licence or else they'll lock your computer. That doesn't sound right at all. Microsoft never phone out to customers like that. Be super careful and don't fall for their tricks - they're just after your bank details. This should really be reported as a scam.
