Got a call on my home phone from someone claiming to be Openreach, saying there was an issue with my internet. I told them I don’t even have broadband set up. They insisted I was on their records. When I asked where exactly, they just hung up. From what I know, Openreach wouldn’t ring customers directly about problems like this, so I reckon it’s a scam. The accent sounded like it was from outside the UK as well.
