This bloke Daniel Abdullah just wouldn’t stop ringing and honestly, it got on my nerves big time. I might’ve lost it and gave him a right telling off with a few choice words, but he just took it like it was nothing - guess he’s heard worse before! They’re just trying to confuse you, saying they can prove your electricity or gas company is charging you too much. Don’t fall for it, just blacklist their number and forget about it - it’s a load of rubbish!

Today I got a call from this number saying they were from Scottish Power and wanted me to verify my info. I asked for a contact number and they told me 02037694220, but when I tried to call it, it didn’t connect. I then rang Scottish Power directly and they said they hadn’t reached out to me at all. Don't waste your time with these people. I’ve reported it to the watchdog since I record all my calls, and I’ve also passed the details to Citizens Advice.

I run a little retail business on my own, and these lot kept ringing me up about 7 times in just 10 minutes, going on about saving me cash. They wouldn't stop pestering me. I told them my number is on a do-not-call list and asked them to quit ringing, but they weren't having any of it. I ended the call, yet they rang back straight away. I warned them I'd report their harassment, but they just laughed it off. To make matters worse, when I tried to make a call a few minutes later, I couldn’t get through - they still had the line open!

Got a ring from this number earlier asking if I was interested in cutting my gas and electric bills by 30%. After I flat out said 'NO THANK YOU' a good few times, I joked that I was rolling in cash and didn’t need any discounts. The bloke actually laughed at me, so I just ended the call. Then they rang straight back saying 'If you’re rich, why not share some with me?' Honestly, cheeky lot! It’s so annoying getting calls like this while you’re on maternity leave, just trying to calm your baby down. Proper rude how they spoke to me!

Got a call from a guy with an Indian accent claiming it was a urgent message from national grid about updating my info in their records. He said the last supplier they had was British Gas... which hasn't been true for us in over 8 years. I told him our energy supplier now was something like a hamster running on a wheel. Didn’t seem to find it funny in the slightest and just ended up hanging up on me!

I just got a ring from a bloke saying he was from the switch and save team at 160 London Road, Barking, IG11 8BB. Turns out that address is just some virtual office! I asked him to take my business number off their list, and in a perfect English accent, he ended up calling me a F-ing Bastard. Seriously unprofessional. Avoid dealing with these muppets altogether.

I had the exact same experience. They said they were from Opus Energy, which sounded legit, but it’s definitely not linked to the real company. If they ring you, just take the chance to let out any frustration you might have - swear away if you want, they clearly don’t care one bit. The weirdest part? They told me the only way to stop their calls was by signing a contract! Absolute muppets, can’t believe people fall for this nonsense.

I’ve got a pretty hectic business to manage, and these callers are unbelievably dense - they just can’t take a simple NO THANK YOU! I keep asking them to remove me from their list, but they keep nagging about how my electric bill is too high. I've signed up with the National Do Not Call Registry, but I’m not holding my breath it’ll make much difference. I'll check back in a couple weeks and see if it stopped. So annoying!!
